Providing Spiritual Direction is an Integral Part of Our Mission

Spiritual Direction is a process to help you become increasingly aware of the workings of the Holy Spirit in your life. It is about growing in the understanding of your relationship with God so that you can continue to deepen it as you continue your spiritual journey. Ignatius of Loyola understood the integral role of a spiritual director to enable every person to more profitably experience an Encounter with God. Ignatius House honors this commitment. There are approximately 30 spiritual directors affiliated with Ignatius House who are extremely competent and recognized nationally and globally for guiding others spiritually. All spiritual directors are trained in Ignatian Spirituality and most have completed the 19th annotation.

For your convenience, the spiritual directors are well experienced in servicing multiple faiths and faiths of varying degrees from seekers to extremely spiritual. We are honored that over 70% of Ignatius House retreatants are repeat guests and that many commit to multiple retreats each year. Every year they rest in the confidence of the spiritual directors and trust the Holy Spirit to match them with the right spiritual director for a deep experience. At Ignatius House Retreat Center, our Spiritual Directors are available to talk with you in confidentially about your spiritual life. Whether you have daily concerns around family, work, or your relationships, they are here to listen.  If you are experiencing loss,  hurt or fears, they are here to help.  Spending time with one of our Spiritual Directors can, and will, help you to better understand how every aspect of your daily life plays an integral role in your relationship with God.
