Ignatian Yoga Retreat: Rediscovering God’s Will

June 7, 2024 @ 6:00 pm - June 9, 2024 @ 12:00 pm

$350

Directed by Kimberly Nettuno, MTS, RYT and Emma Nettuno, RYT, CPT

In Psalm 143: 10, the Psalmist prays, “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your kind spirit guide me….” As we step into the month of June, a time of renewed growth and vitality, and draw nearer to the latter half of the year, we take a look back at the list of resolutions and goals we set forth at the outset of 2024, eagerly anticipating personal transformation.

This weekend, we will reflect on these desires, discern God among them, and recognize the spirit within as our guide toward His will. We’ll gather together for the opportunity to stretch our minds and lean into our hearts to explore those intentions and values with which we began 2024. Together, we will deepen those desires that offer the transformation we seek, find willingness to surrender those that no longer serve us, and make room for those that God might be inviting us to receive in the year’s second half.

To facilitate this journey of exploration and self-discovery—mind, body, and spirit—we encourage you to bring any reflective materials that aid your introspection, such as your personal journal. Additionally, please bring any necessary items that support your yoga practice, including your mat, block, and blankets.

Space is limited for this retreat.

This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted.

Kimberly (Kimi) Nettuno, MTS, RYT, journeys with others in the practices of yoga, meditation, discernment, and spiritual direction. She combines yoga methodology with Christian prayer and Ignatian discernment to expand the practitioner’s relationship with God by deepening their connection with themselves. With over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training, a certification in Ignatian Spiritual Direction, and a master’s degree in Theological Studies, Kimi invites others to journey within where God’s presence resides. She strives to share with every practitioner this truth that she has come to embrace: You are beautifully made. No life experience or circumstance is wasted. You are the living knowledge of God, for He created you for a purpose and out of His desire to be in loving relationship with you. When she is not admiring the awe of God’s work in another, she loves to encounter His loving, creative presence surrounded by her family as they work and play on their farm.

Emma Nettuno, RYT, CPT, has amassed several years of experience in teaching yoga. In addition to her successful yoga instruction, she holds a certification as a personal trainer. Her class offerings cater to a diverse range of skill levels, ensuring that there is something for everyone. Whether you seek a rigorous workout, a rejuvenating stretch and mobility session, or simply an hour of tranquility, Emma’s classes are designed to meet your needs. Central to her teaching philosophy are the principles of breath, synchronized movement, and promoting healthy alignment. Emma is deeply committed to aiding individuals in their wellness journeys, fostering the aspiration for self-improvement within each participant. Her sincere hope is to serve as a source of inspiration as you strive to achieve your personal best. During her leisure time, Emma finds joy in spending moments on her family’s farm, the idyllic location for her classes, nurturing her artistic side through painting, and relishing peaceful strolls in nature.
