Following through the movements of The Spiritual Exercises, we will use creative practices to heighten the experiences of our personal prayer. We will notice the gentle invitations of Jesus to enter deeper friendship through a practice of deep breathing exercises, a focus upon our senses, poetry selections, and praying for graces. On the Cross, the death of Jesus reveals to us that God understands human suffering and wants to walk with us. We will strengthen our friendship with Christ as we share those lights and shadows that emerge from daily life.
This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted.
