Have you taken the time and space to breathe, to disconnect, to walk in nature’s beauty and be inspired by creation? It’s time. As part of your prayerful, mindfulness practice, come away with us and rest awhile.
Are you an artist who needs quiet time away? Join us. Or perhaps you haven’t drawn or painted anything since childhood, but you’d like to? Please, join us. You will be given the guidance you need to create, to interpret what you see in your own unique way.
Breathe, meditate, and walk on the lovely grounds of Ignatius House. We’ll gather to create in a loose and playful way without judgment or criticism. Our art will be as realistic or as abstract as we like, but it will be our own unique expression of the beauty we perceive with our eyes or in our mind’s eye.
For this day, we will work with acrylic paints. Bring your smock and trust that peace is there for us to claim.
The cost of this day of reflection is $85 which includes materials.
This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted.
Check-in begins at 8:30 am, when a light breakfast is available. Lunch will be served in the dining room mid-day. The day concludes with Mass at 2:30pm.
