The beauty we behold and the beauty we create is an experience of the creativity of God — a God around us and through us. Come away for a semi-silent, weekend of art and prayer to “wash away the dust from everyday life” as Pablo Picasso famously said. Your artwork will become a part of a prayerful, mindfulness practice pulling you into the present moment to joyfully express yourself. The beauty of the natural forest on the grounds of Ignatius House will inspire you!
We all have art within us. This retreat is open to adults with or without any art training. Art materials will be provided, which include acrylic paints, colored pencils, and pens.
Space is limited to 15 participants.
This is a semi-silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted. There will be periods of discussion and dialogue as and when shared by the retreat director.
