Mercy – the Beating Heart of the Gospel
The Gospel according to Luke has traditionally been identified as “the Gospel of Mercy.” Throughout his book, Luke weaves together a braid composed of three qualities of mercy: compassion, forgiveness and service. During this retreat we will reflect upon and pray with Luke’s cluster of parables which highlight the merciful love of God and our call to witness God’s love in our world today and in the future.
This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted.
