Join us for a 3-night workshop led by Father Kevin O’Brien, SJ, spiritual director and author of The Ignatian Adventure as we delve into the art of directing the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. This transformative experience, set against the serene backdrop of Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, welcomes seasoned directors eager to refine their skills in leading the Exercises as well as those new to the practice who hope to lay a foundation to direct the Exercises in the future. With moments of silent contemplation amidst nature’s beauty, Fr. O’Brien’s guidance, and a supportive community of fellow directors, this retreat offers an invitation to delve deeper into your own experience and understanding of the Exercises to better accompany others. A former lawyer, Rev. Kevin O’Brien, SJ, is a Jesuit priest and educator who introduces 21st century readers to the 500-year-old tradition of Jesuit spirituality. An experienced high school and college educator, he has served in a variety of roles at Georgetown University and Santa Clara University. He currently leads the first Jesuit community college on the East Coast, which is located in Bridgeport, Connecticut and is sponsored by Fairfield University. He regularly conducts spiritual retreats for the young and old alike. The author of several books on Ignatian spirituality, his most recently published book is Seeing with the Heart.
