Yoga Day of Reflection: Discernment in Motion – Exploring Lies
August 3 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm$125
Directed by Kimberly Nettuno, MTS, RYT
Our throat grants us the ability to share our truth. However, if we hold too tightly to what we think and hear, we become blind and rigid. This rigidity can not only make us unwilling to listen, but it can whisper in our ear lies, casting shadow upon our view of self and others. When realigned, God lingers on what we hold as truth, allowing us to see His working in another and see ourselves as He does. Opening our voices in praise and lifting our heads upward to banish lies, we encounter the gift of truth.
Check-in starts at 8:30 am, with a light breakfast on arrival. We will begin on our mats in the Chapel promptly at 9 am. A silent, nourishing lunch will be provided in the dining room mid-day and the program will conclude with Mass at 2:30 pm. Participants must bring their own yoga mat.
This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted. There will be periods of discussion and dialogue as and when shared by the retreat director.
Kimberly (Kimi) Nettuno, MTS, RYT, along with her daughter, Hannah, owns Trinity Movement. She holds a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Spring Hill College and a Master of Theological Studies.
