“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, [then] I will enter their house and dine with them, and they with me.” (Revelation 3:20, NAB).
Come, explore, and celebrate God’s knock in the hours of your day as we journey through The Examen Prayer. Over five weeks, we will bring this prayer to life through movement and breath. Then, settling into a place of stillness, we will reflect on God’s presence amid life’s gifted hours. “Growth in relationship with God occurs through mutual self-revelation” (Timothy Gallagher, The Examen Prayer). Let’s encounter God’s knocks and open the door, inviting Him into the house that is our hearts, where the Created self converges with its Creator.
Join us for this five-week series, on Wednesday mornings from September 18 through October 16, 2024, from 10 am – 12pm.
These sessions will take place in Schroder House, the original home on the property, located down a gentle slope and with steps leading to the front door. These sessions are not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues.
Cost: $130 for all five sessions. Advance registration is required as space is limited.
Kimi Nettuno, MTS, RYT, journeys with others in the practices of yoga, meditation, discernment, and spiritual direction. She combines yoga methodology with Christian prayer and Ignatian discernment to expand the practitioner’s relationship with God by deepening their connection with themselves. Having over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training, a certification in Ignatian Spiritual Direction, and a master’s degree in Theological Studies, she invites others to journey within where God’s presence resides. She strives to share with every practitioner this truth that she has come to embrace: You are beautifully made. No life experience or circumstance is wasted. You are the living knowledge of God, for He created you for a purpose and out of His desire to be in loving relationship with you. When she is not admiring the awe of God’s work in another, she loves to encounter His loving, creative presence surrounded by her family as they work and play on their farm.
