Start of a Five-Week Yoga Series: Moving With Passion

February 28, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$130

Directed by Kimi Nettuno, MTS, RYT

The weeks of the Lenten season align beautifully with the Third Week of St. Ignatius’s Spiritual Exercises, journeying with Jesus through His Passion. This season allows us to reflect upon our passions – the deep sufferings and the “little deaths” we encounter daily.

The grace we seek is companionship. Through this grace, we find a willingness to accompany Jesus into the mystery of human suffering and deepen our hearts’ understanding of compassion. The Latin roots of the word compassion mean “to suffer together.” Come and join me during this blessed season of Lent to move through Christ’s Passion and find a deeper understanding of our own through His.

Join us for this five-week series, on Wednesday mornings from February 28 through March 27, 2024, from 10 am – 12pm.

These sessions will take place in Schroder House, the original home on the property, located down a gentle slope and with steps leading to the front door. These sessions are not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues.

Cost: $130 for all five sessions. Advance registration is required as space is limited.

Kimi Nettuno, MTS, RYT, journeys with others in the practices of yoga, meditation, discernment, and spiritual direction. She combines yoga methodology with Christian prayer and Ignatian discernment to expand the practitioner’s relationship with God by deepening their connection with themselves. Having over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training, a certification in Ignatian Spiritual Direction, and a master’s degree in Theological Studies, she invites others to journey within where God’s presence resides. She strives to share with every practitioner this truth that she has come to embrace: You are beautifully made. No life experience or circumstance is wasted. You are the living knowledge of God, for He created you for a purpose and out of His desire to be in loving relationship with you. When she is not admiring the awe of God’s work in another, she loves to encounter His loving, creative presence surrounded by her family as they work and play on their farm.
